After looking at the
pre-built units available at hardware stores and
getting a quote from a builder, I decided to get
the best quality and value by building it myself.
In the process I learned much that will help
whenever dealing with other home projects.
I just finished my
shed from your KYLE plans. The directions and
plans were most helpful and the project provided a
summer's enjoyment. After moving in all my lawn
equipment, I also got my garage back.

Hello,
No more questions today. I
finally finished the shed. With
your help it came out, in my
humble opinion, very well. I
appreciate all the help you gave
me along the way. Its the best
twenty bucks I ever spent on the
internet. I am enclosing some
pictures. They go from concept
to the finished shed. My costs
were right at $15.00 per Sq.Ft..
I did spend more than I had to
for the Steel Door and the
Window.
The two little round disks on
the roof are "solar panels'
for the modified porch light.

Hi,
I just wanted to share our
new shed. We couldn't be happier -
it looks great. 12x18 shed. We
added a cupola & weathervane, window
& window boxes but other than that the
plan was as is.
Thanks,

Dear Just Sheds,
I purchased last spring your plan # 2311 for
the 10x10 shed and followed it to the letter.
I must say that I found it very thorough and
easy to understand. With the exception of
having someone help me lift the framed walls
into place, I was able to do the whole project
myself.
I'm sending photos that I took ( hopefully you
get them, I'm new at this ) so please feel
free to use any on your site if you wish. I
would recommend your site to anyone.
Regards,
Rick Smith |

Just
wanted to tell you that your web site is
great! I teach a construction class at
Souderton Area High School and we are making
a scale model of one of your sheds.
The information is great for this 9 week

| PLAN
# 1135 |
|
Dear Just Sheds:
Above are images of the 1135 shed I have
just built using the plans you provided.
All the framing is per plans using
4X6 skids and 2X8 floor framing. I
added the cedar siding on 1 full side and
partially on the door end. The
remainder of the shed is sided with T1-11
with a cedar stain. The doors are
also T1-11 and cross hatched fully.
Plans called for a small door and
window on the 8 foot end and no window on
the 10 foot side. As you see that
is changed to allow for a 5 foot double
door which permits rolling in large items
such as a log splitter and tiller.
The cedar siding matches the house
siding and the trim and shingles also
match the house. Our mountain
community here in West Virginia requires
wood siding or log homes, and we wanted to
make the shed look like the house as much
as possible. The soffit and fascia
box-ins are all wood also.
For the most part I found the plans very
helpful and the rafter angle cuts were
much easier with the information provided.
I will happily recommend your
plans to anyone who asks about the shed,
I have other images should you
wish to see them.
Many thanks
Jim Kline

Dear Just Sheds,
Impressive website and selection. I need to
replace my rusted out metal shed (from previous
owner), and am strongly considering ordering your
plans. I am interested in 1312E
8' X 10' X 12'-4".
Is it possible to get just the list of materials
for this plan? I am working within a budget and
need to see how expensive this project would be.
If it is not possible to get the list of
materials, can you at least provide a rough
estimate (I hope $750 or less). I live in the
Houston area and would be getting materials from
Home Depot or Lowes.
Sincerely,
Tim Roden |
